Galloping Cats

With participation like that, who needs National Delurking Week?* January 10, 2007

I made a pie chart from your guesses:Word_guesses

The winners are Sara, Frances, Reese, and Lily who all guessed CAR! You guys, my kid is obsessed with cars. He wakes up in the morning signing car and spends about 80% of his day playing with cars, looking out the window for cars, and reading books about cars. (Trucks are good, too.) He’s got a sharp eye and can find cars in the least expected corners of newspapers, houses, stores. He is such a boy!

Anyway, that was fun. Thanks for playing!

* Of course if you want to delurk, I’d welcome your hellos or blog links, and would love to know what we have in common/why you read.

I have been de-lurking all week! It’s kind of liberating! I’m not a full lurker here, I believe I’ve commented a few times before.

But anyway! My three year old is full on into Cars, the movie, so the obsession/fascination probably won’t disappear soon. He has more matchbox cars than I have clothes, I think.

I’ll de-lurk. I’m at work, so must be quick, but feel free to check out my blog, boring as it is. Love your blog.

Well, shoot. I’m too late to guess!

Gatito is getting so big … first words and all. How exciting (and maybe heartwrenching?) for you!

Not delurking, but happy to say hi!

I would have guessed cat. But your Target post from before christmas held the clue!

OK, you JUST TOLD ME about his favorite book and yet I STILL guessed wrong. Although, I have to say that “Vodka” would have been an excellent first word.

I am trying to train The Alien into saying “Oprah” – since I am a SAHM and all, I think that would impress people.

Just wanted to de-lurk to say, “Hi!” You helped me out a while ago with some questions about immune issues before our successful IVF. Also with good advice on bottles/formula feeding. I can’t wait until ds starts talking/walking, Gatito sounds adorable!

  17. Tammy Says:

    I read your blog about 3 times/week. I’m a mom of 3.

I’m pretty sure I found you through a comment you left for me. I don’t comment enough but I read all the time. And I should tell you that your posts about breast feeding were a revelation and a relief for me to read. I’m glad you were so open about it.

Hi! Delurking to say, I’ve been reading for a few months after finding you on Julie’s big old list!
