Galloping Cats

I take a certain amount of pleasure in the fact that I know my body and can recognize the signs of fertility. I was right: I was ovulating when I thought I was, because I got my period today. (A mere 10 DPO, but never mind that… the progesterone seems to solve that problem.)

If all continues normally through the next cycle, early May will find me riding an ultrasound wand and, depending on what it tells me, getting back on this crazy roller coaster. In the meantime, I am really appreciating every moment of the clear-headedness that will disappear if I am lucky enough to get pregnant again.

You were right. Again. A woman knows things. Just saying. :)

May can not come soon enough!!! For so many reasons. I’m hoping with you. Luck all around!

(is that the hand of Gatito? so big!!! and adorable, as usual)

    Well, then, giddyup……

    I’m so hopeful for you!

    Hooray!

And wow–that fingerpaint! Is that new or have I just not read this outside of a bloglines window for a while? Terrific!

Love the banner. LK never liked getting his hands gooky, so we fingerpainted with popsicle sticks.

April is next week. May will be here before you know it!

I like your new banner. It took me a moment to decipher it…I thought it was vegetables! Weird.

So nice to know your own body, eh? I thought I knew mine and I was so self righteous, and then when I had to start figuring out when I ovulated, I discovered that I had never actually counted my cycle! I was always getting my period early–or I have a 24 to 26 day cycle.

You make riding the wand sound vaguely dirty…or maybe that’s me; IVF imposed sex ban seems to need to be lifted soon.

    It’s good to be right!

(I, too, am loving the banner. And the phrase “riding the wand.”)

We are looking at May, too. Shhh!

  8. Jane Says:

It seems funny to say “congratulations on starting your period”, but that is exactly what I want to say. I know it made me feel happy that I could get in the ring and try it again.
