In the middle of the night…
April 1, 2008The past two nights we’ve been woken up by a certain small someone screaming, “I need to pee!” Although it was tempting, somehow it didn’t seem right to yell back instructions to go in his diaper. Heh.
Last night he peed around midnight and kept his diaper dry all night long. I really wasn’t expecting him to be trained at nights for a long time, but it’s rather convenient, as I only have two night-time diapers left.
I guess, if we don’t want to keep getting up in the middle of the night (and dealing with the crying when we send him back to bed), this means the end of the gray milk (what he still calls milk in a bottle, for reasons unknown) before bed. He is not going to be happy about that!
Chicken (at 11 yo) still gets up between 11 and 12 every night to pee. EVERY NIGHT! Luckily, I’ve trained him to do it by himself at this point.
Can’t tell you how jealous I am of the easy potty training! The little miss over here is not interested at all and I haven’t wanted to push it with her. Maybe the new babysitter will take care of it for me, heh heh.
My goodness, you’re lucky! And Gatito is so smart! Rosey will be 3.5 this month, and she’s still happily peeing in her nighttime pull-up…
Um, gray milk?
I am glad to know I’m not the only one still giving milk in a bottle at night time. We’re nowhere near you with the potty training but it’s not a competition. Way to go Gatito!
